چکیده

Abstract In this article, we examine secondary mathematics teachers’ work with resources using the Documentational Approach to Didactics lens. Specifically, look at and a teacher’s scheme of use (aims, rules actions, operational invariants, inferences) these across set lessons (macro-level analysis) that aim towards students’ preparation for examinations how emerges in three on same topic (micro-level as response contingent moments. We propose terms scheming—a emerging related used aim—and re-scheming, namely, shifts such scheming. Our analysis lesson observations reflections his actions from post-observation interview demonstrate interplay between stable characteristics scheming re-scheming individual lessons. conclude article discussion methodological potential both macro- micro-level analyses investigation resources.

Plotting and Scheming with Wavelets

1. Introduction Wavelets are acquiring a visibility and popularity that may soon be on the scale rst enjoyed by fractals a few years back. Like fractals, wavelets have attractive and novel features, both as mathematical entities and in numerous applications. They are often touted as worthwhile alternatives to classical Fourier analysis, which works best when applied to periodic data: wavelet me...

Scheming in Dimensional Regularization

We consider the most general loop integral that appears in non-relativistic effective field theories with no light particles. The divergences of this integral are in correspondence with simple poles in the space of complex space-time dimensions. Integrals related to the original integral by subtraction of one or more poles in dimensions other than D = 4 lead to nonminimal subtraction schemes. S...

task-based instruction, consciousness-raising and iranian efl learners acquisition and use of collocation

the present study sought to examine whether a task-based approach could have an impact on raising awareness of collocations. moreover, it sought to investigate the facilitative role of consciousness-raising tasks of collocations in the communicative instances of use. to this end, 68 intermediate learners of english were selected via a placement test. the participants were taught with classroom ...

Online Resources in Mathematics: Teachers’ Genesis of Use

The long-term objective of our research is to develop the instrumental approach for teachers. A first step, presented in this paper, is to observe stable behaviours of teachers using internet resources in mathematics. We retain the scenarios as indicators of the genesis processes. We propose a scenario taxonomy taken from categories elaborated by computer sciences specialists and complemented t...
